Grammy Nomination For Miley Cyrus Song Got Pulled

miley-cyrus-performingThe bad press for the 17 year old Miley Cyrus keeps mounting.  After getting a nod from The Grammies on a song she did from the soundtrack from her movie Hannah Montana, well she was just informed, the nomination for best song written for a soundtrack has been rescinded.

We do have to point out Miley was not the artist actually getting the award since she didn’t write the song, but it is still her song and performed by her.

With Miley’s song out of the way, the Grammies will now go with “All is Love” by Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and written for Where the Wild Things Are.

The Grammy organization wasn’t explicit about why Miley’s song “The Climb” was replaced.

On a pleasant note for Miley, she is working to remake 80’s music “Every Rose Has Its Thorn.”  The song was originally sung by the rock group Poison.
