Whenever we blog about Nicolas Cage, it’s always about money problems.  Yes you guessed it, he has more money problems.  The IRS has sent a new bill to Nic Cage informing him he owes $6.7 million in back taxes for 2008.  If you have been keeping up with Nic Cage’s money woes like we have, that currently puts him at $13,330,372.83 that he owes in back taxes.

He did release a statement to TMZ reading, “Over the course of my career I have paid at least $70 million in taxes. Unfortunately, due to a recent legal situation, another approximate $14 million is owed to the IRS, however, I am under new business management and am happy to say that I am current for 2009. All taxes will be paid including any to be determined state taxes.”

That’s good news on his part, because we like it better when he is making movies instead of fighting the IRS.

In a Tiger Woods type of dilemma, Nicolas Cage seems to be in a never-ending money problem.  First the IRS seized his home in New Orleans, then his ex-wife sues him for $13 Million and now he is being sued one more time.  Red Curb Investments is suing the star, alleging that the tax-troubled actor did not repay over $5 million in loans nor did he disclose his tax problems, notably a $6 million debt.

Red Curb claims, they were assured Nic Cage had assets such as a yacht, airplane, antics and etc to re-assure paying his loan but his assets were exaggerated.

It is still baffling how a big star like Nicolas Cage could have dealt himself such a blow after all the money he has made and still continues to make with big time movies under his belt.  Hopefully he can get the money issues behind him and get back to doing what he does best, making movies.

Early last month we blogged about the problems Nicholas Cage was having with The MAN IRS.  It seems his troubles are just beginning because now his ex-wife is suing him for $13 Million.

The former Oscar winners wife, Christina Fulton claims fraud and breach of contract in her complaint, saying that she’s nearly $1.2M in debt due to the actor’s own troubles.

Fulton says that because of Cage and Levin’s negligence, she now owes the IRS more than $1 million, in addition to $250,000 in unpaid credit card debt. She says the credit card was supposed to be paid off regularly by Cage and that fraudulent charges were racked up by a staffer hired by the actor who didn’t undergo a sufficient background check.

Cage’s attorney Marty Singer tells PEOPLE: “This lawsuit is ridiculous and absurd. Nicolas Cage has given her approximately three million every year for many years, even though he was only obligated to pay her six thousand a month in child support. We expect this lawsuit to be promptly thrown out.”

Maybe Cage can ask the President for a bailout.

Nicolas Cage is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, so this news comes as a shock to many.  He has starred in some of the biggest movies of the decade but i guess the IRS doesn’t take that into consideration.  Two of his homes in New Orleans were auctioned off to cover his huge tab of over $6 Million.  The homes were purchased at a bargain by Regions Bank for $4.5 Million, since the homes were appraised at $6.8 Million.

Now Cage is claiming all this problems stem from dealings he had with Samuel J. Levin who was his business manager.  Cage actually filled a law suit against Levin, Cage claims  Levin paid himself millions of dollars while putting Cages money into risky investments.  Due to this on going issue,  Cage is now forced to  sell of  major  assets and investments at a significant loss.
