So the question is, how long, is too long before you start dating, after you lose your wife.  In Simon Monjack’s case, just a few months.   The widower was spotted at a post Oscar party with a mystery woman.  The bloated husband of Brittany Murphy seemed to be getting real comfy with his date.

When you check out the magazine, the W, it features two of Hollywood’s finest.  Looking at the picture, you can tell, Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston have a lot of chemistry between them.  I am sure we will see some of that in their new flick, The Bounty Hunter.

They get down and dirty — seriously dirty — in the desert for the magazine’s huge layout, Gerard plays lawman while Jen struts around in some sexy lingerie.

The magazine’s 13-page pictorial — shot in mid-January on a ranch outside L.A. — is titled: “Speed Trap: Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler do a little role playing in the searing heat of the California desert where damsels aren’t always in distress and lawmen sometimes break the rules.”

Hair stylist to the ‘Friends’ star, Chris McMillan, talked to the magazine about Jen’s hair for this shoot.

“We left her hair dirty. It just created a nice chunky texture. The key to Jennifer’s hair is no matter what you do with it — straight, frizzy, dirty — it looks like it actually grows out of her head. She’s someone for whom her hair doesn’t wear her, she wears it,” he describes.

McMillan makes no apologies for the different side of Aniston people will see in W.

“They’re going to be talking s**t as usual, but who cares? We don’t care about that,” he says.

The on-screen collaboration of the rumored off-screen couple, which hits theaters March 19, follows Butler’s bounty hunter as he tries to bring his ex, played by Aniston, to jail.

So much for happy endings, as Life & Style magazine is saying, the honeymoon is over for Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi.  If you polled America, many believed, Tenley Molzahn was the right choice for Jake.  But now Life & Style is saying the relationship between the two won’t last and they even enlisted the help of former bachelors and bachelorette to critique the relationship.

Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi didn’t have to hide their love anymore when they dined at West Hollywood’s trendy Koi restaurant on March 3. The dinner came two days after Jake had proposed marriage to Vienna instead of fan favorite Tenley Molzahn on the season finale of The Bachelor. But instead of a romantic night out together, tension in the relationship — which has come under much scrutiny in recent days — showed.

“They arrived looking great, smiling and full of energy,” an eyewitness tells Life & Style. “But once inside, things didn’t go so smoothly. They had one drink each, and when their server went back to offer them another round, Vienna jumped at the chance to order another, but Jake canceled it! He said he couldn’t because he had to dance [for Dancing With the Stars] the next day, and he wanted to get home. So he made it clear she couldn’t have one either.”

Jillian Harris, who passed on picking Jake on The Bachelorette in 2009, tells Life & Style, “I didn’t think they were a good match. I thought Tenley was a better match for him.” Wes Hayden, who along with Jake vied for Jillian’s love on The Bachelorette, is adding in his two cents. “I don’t believe his relationship with Vienna is real,” Wes, who bunked with Jake on the hit reality show, tells Life & Style. “Do I think there’s going to be a marriage? I highly doubt it.” Jake has always wanted to be in the limelight, says Wes. “He said to me, ‘The reason I’m on the show is I want America to fall in love with me so I can be the next Bachelor,’” Wes reveals exclusively to Life & Style.

Author Jenny Paul gave the following details to Life & Style:

Angie’s had a nose job: No, she didn’t have her lips done. Paul claims in her new book that Angelina had a nose job when she was younger (which her rep has denied) and also underwent laser eye surgery.

They have five nannies for six kids: Each older kid has a nanny, and the twins share one, the book reveals. “They look after the kids and home-school them,” Paul tells Life & Style.

Brad nearly got busted for pot: A report claimed Brad and Angie were so loud while having sex in Kenya in 2005, cops burst in. The real story, Paul tells Life & Style: Someone thought he smelled pot and tipped off police, who later raided the couple’s room but found nothing.

Brad bought their French estate: The couple purchased the $60 million Chateau Miraval, Paul tells Life & Style. It was bought by Brad’s Briarcliff Trust.

This book, seems like a good read.  It comes out next week, can’t wait to read all the juicy details revealed about Brad and Angie.

Barbara Walters opens up about the damage she did to Ricky Martin’s music career.  In the late 90’s early 2000’s, Ricky was the Latino heartthrob.  He was mentioned in the same breath as Britney Spears, Nsync and the Backstreet boys.  That was until he had an interview with Barbara Walters, and she tried to oust him as been gay.

“In 2000, I pushed Ricky Martin very hard to admit if he was gay or not, and the way he refused to do it made everyone decide that he was,” she told  The Toronto Star.  “A lot of people say that destroyed his career, and when I think back on it now, I feel it was an inappropriate question.”

During the 2000 interview, Walters tells him, “You know, you could stop these rumors. You could say, as many artists have, ‘Yes I am gay,’ or you could say, ‘No I’m not,’ or you could leave it, as you are, ambiguous. I don’t want to put you on the spot, but it’s in your power to do it.”

Good luck trying to sue everyone Tila.  In a few days, this story will die down, so what are you going to cook up next to stay in the news?  Whatever it is, am sure it will make us chuckle as usual.

A day after burying her son in Utah, it is back to Vegas for Marie Osmond.  Unfortunately for her, the show must go on, The Donny & Marie Show.

“She’s having a rough time, but she’s staying strong,” the show’s producer Chip Lightman says. “She has seven other children that depend on her, and she’s being strong for the kids.”

“She’s going back to work because it affects a lot of people when she doesn’t work,” Lightman tells E! “There’s over 100 people who work on the show, and Marie never wants to let people down so she’s going back to work tonight.”

After taking a break from their Vegas act to deal with the death of Marie’s son, the Osmonds have added five extra shows April 13-17 to accommodate those who had tickets to the canceled shows.

Actor Corey Haim was found dead this morning, TMZ reports.  At the moment, his death is ruled as an accidental overdose but after an autopsy, more information will be released. 

The LAPD said they were called to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank, CA shortly before 4AM PT to investigate.  Police also added, they believe the actor, who shot to fame in the ’80s and had a long history of substance-abuse problems, perished at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday due to an accidental overdose.

Haim reportedly was found unresponsive at his apartment. His mother was said to be with him at the time. He was pronounced dead at the Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Burbank. 

RIP Corey Haim, he was only 38 years old. 

The executive director of the film academy said Tuesday that Farrah Fawcett wasn’t included in the Academy Awards’ In Memoriam segment because the actress was better known as a TV star. Is that right?  So I guess the question is, why was Michael Jackson added on the tribute?

Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences executive director Bruce Davis, explained that Jackson had appeared in a popular theatrical film recently. Personally, I think the first response is always the best one.  When the academy claimed they couldn’t fit everyone in the short time slot given for the tribute.  That seemed like a better answer, than the one they are currently giving.

Fawcett’s family issued a statement through a publicist Tuesday saying they were “deeply saddened” and “bereft with this exclusion of such an international icon who inspired so many for so many reasons.”

“In every category, you’re going to miss some wonderful people,” said Davis, who has helped assemble Oscar’s In Memoriam montage since it began in 1993.

“There’s nothing you can say to people, particularly to family members, within a day or two of the show that helps at all,” Davis said. “They tend to be surprised and hurt, and we understand that and we’re sorry for it.”

The douche bag we all know as Howard Stern is opening his big yawpers again.  The only problem is, he took a shot at Oscar nominee Gabourey Sidibe.  On his satellite show, this is what he had to say about the Oscar nominee: 

“There’s the most enormous, fat black chick I’ve ever seen. She is enormous. Everyone’s pretending she’s a part of show business and she’s never going to be in another movie.  She should have gotten the Best Actress award because she’s never going to have another shot. What movie is she gonna be in?” 

He and co-host Robin Quivers went on to discuss the impossibility of Gabby finding any work in Hollywood after ‘Precious.’  “And Oprah’s lying and saying you’re going to have a brilliant career,” said Robin. 

“Oprah’s another liar, a filthy liar,” said Stern. “She’s telling an enormous woman the size of a planet that she’s going to have a career.” 

It never surprises me, how low men like Howard Stern or Rush Limbaugh will stoop to get ratings, but they do somehow find a way to outdo themselves.  But luckily for Gabby, she does have projects lined up.  She will be appearing on the new Showtime series The C Word’ and her next big-screen appearance will be opposite Zoe Kravitz in the drama ‘Yelling to the Sky.’
