Newly deceased Simon Monjack had 2 children. The only problem is, his deceased wife Brittany Murphy might have never known about her husband’s secret. Since Simon can’t answer for his secret, we wondered why you keep it a secret that you have 2 children?

TMZ broke the news, but in their story, they do not list the age of the children but we do know one of the kids is a boy and the other a girl.

The information about Simon having 2 kids came about after his mom, brother and therapist came over to the home he shared with wife Brittany Muprhy. When they left, they took Simon’s laptop and in his email were messages from 2 women asking for money for child support. Now we are not sure who leaked the story to TMZ but we doubt Simon’s mom or brother sold him out.

Apart from the messages that revealed Simon had 2 women asking for support for the children he fathered with them, there was also evidence that Simon sent a large amount to one of the women.

In a single transfer, Simon sent $48,000.00 and also he sent money to his lawyers and was paying someone in Europe a settlement, but the amount was not disclosed.

So, what was really going on with Simon, did he have a secret life that his wife Brittany Murphy had no knowledge of or was Brittany in on the secrets. Unfortunately, those questions might never be answered, but we do feel for the kids, who longer have their father.

Simon Monjack has been laid to rest and unlike the circus that followed after his wife Brittany Murphy passed in December of last year, Simon’s burial went down without any drama of fracas.  Simon’s wish was, when he passed, he wanted to be buried next to his wife and unfortunately, his wish was granted 5 months later.

About 75 friends and family members were in attendance as Monjack, who died Sunday, was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles on Thursday.  It was a private orthodox Jewish service and took place at the same memorial church where Murphy was eulogized in December after her sudden death.  A rendition of Murphy singing “Smile,” accompanied by Simon on the piano, was played to mourners.

The preliminary cause of death for Monjack has been listed as natural causes; however, the Los Angeles Coroner’s office is conducting an autopsy.

According to a new report, it was only a matter of time before Brittany Murphy passed away.  It seems the actress received no fewer than 200 pills every month from January 2008 through August 2009 … and sometimes as many as 400. I don’t care how sick you are, but no doctor in his right mind would ever recommend that many prescriptions for a patient.

The report continues and reveals Brittany used alias Lola Manilow Murphy at Eddie’s Pharmacy in L.A. for nearly 2 years, before she was finally cut off 4 months before she passed.

When will celebs learn? You can’t hide your pain by indulging in pills, and the ones who do, lose their lives.  Hopefully other celebs will use Brittany Murphy, Michael Jackson and Corey Haim as cautionary tales.

The details of Brittany Murphy’s will have been released. Apparently she had 2 different wills, but both of them state the same thing. All of Brittany’s assets go to her mother, Sharon Murphy.

TMZ is reporting, that sources say, years before Brittany was married she wrote a holographic (handwritten) will, leaving everything to her mother. The will was stored in her manager’s safe.

Brittany’s husband, Simon Monjack, said after they got married Brittany had a formal will drafted, along with a trust. Simon tells us all of her assets under the new will and trust go to Sharon.

Simon tells us, at his request, the will specifically says, “I am married to Simon Monjack who I have intentionally left out of this will.”

Now that Brittany’s mom has control of her assets, she has put Brittany’s house up for sale– the house where Brittany died.

Simon tells TMZ that Sharon listed the house today for $7.25 million. The house, located in the Hollywood Hills, is 8,000 square feet on 1.29 acres.

Brittany bought the house for just under $4 million in 2003. She purchased the home from Britney Spears.

The title to the house is held in a blind trust, and Sharon is the sole trustee. Simon says when the house is sold and Brittany’s estate is wrapped up, he and Sharon are moving to New York.

Late last week, TMZ ran with the story that said, Brittany Murphy filled a hydrocodone prescription.  They claim she received 120 pills and 11 days later is when she passed, only 11 pills remain.

Well, her mom and husband are furious at the report.  Husband, Simon Monjack had an exclusive interview with Radar Online, were he claims, only Brittany’s mom had a hydrocodone prescription.

Simon claims, 120 pills of hydrocodone were prescribed to Sharon because she suffers from neuropathy.  Neuropathy is a type of nerve damage and in Sharon’s case it was caused by chemotherapy and radiation, Monjack told Radar Online.  Dealing with the report that falsely claimed “missing” pills, belonging to Brittany, are harming her mother’s health even more and triggering her neuropathy, according to Monjack.  “Sharon is considering legal action against (the website that published the article).”

There you have it folks, maybe now, Brittany Murphy can rest in peace.

The late Brittany Murphy’s final film, the psychological thriller Abandoned, will receive a theatrical release thanks to Anchor Bay Entertainment, which acquired the distribution rights to the movie this week.

“Releasing this young actress’s last film is both an honor and bittersweet,” says Anchor Bay President Bill Clark. “It was important…that the timing of this release be right, because we’re sensitive to such a tragic loss.” He adds, “However, we also recognize that Brittany’s fans will want to see her amazing work.”

The film, which costars Dean Cain, Mimi Rogers and Peter Bogdanovich, follows Murphy’s character as she searches for her boyfriend, who suddenly vanishes after checking into a hospital.

“Brittany will be deeply missed by everyone who worked on Abandoned,” the producers added in a joint statement. “The film is a taut thriller which portrays Brittany’s character as smart and tough—and that’s how we all want to remember her.”

The film will hit theaters sometime this summer.

It was rather shocking and sad news when we all heard of Brittany Murphy’s death on December 20,2009. Her husband, Simon Monjack, is saying that she was “not that ill” on the day she died.

Simon told People Magazine, he was “ridiculously upset” on Thursday – the day the L.A. coroner released findings saying Murphy died primarily from pneumonia, with multiple drug intoxication and “iron deficiency anemia” as contributing to her accidental death. No illegal drugs were found in her system.

“Everything [surprised me and Brittany's mom about the report],” he told People. “I expected [the cause of death] to be her heart.” Both Monjack and Brittany’s mom have said that they thought her death was due to a congenital heart murmur, and denied rumors that the actress used illegal drugs or suffered from an eating disorder. They added that Murphy’s heart condition was diagnosed in her teens, but said she had received proper treatment for it.

On Thursday, Monjack said that Brittany didn’t seem that sick when she died. “She wasn’t coughing up. I’ve had pneumonia and coughed up handfuls of spittle. So yeah, everything surprised us, everything.”

Asked about the coroner’s assertion that his wife’s death could have been prevented if she’d just gone to the doctor sooner, Monjack said, “I don’t know what he said so I don’t want to comment on what I haven’t seen.”Regarding concern from Murphy’s friends that Monjack should be investigated, the coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter told PEOPLE: “He was never considered a suspect. No one’s criminally liable here because this has been ruled an accident.”

For Simon, a chapter has ended. “Case closed,” said Monjack. “As the coroner said, there’s no foul play.”

It seems in the family’s attempt to prove that Brittany Murphy was not on drugs or mixing prescription drugs, husband Simon Monjack is blaming Warner Bros as the culprit for Brittany’s death.

Monjack told The Daily Beast Murphy was devastated after reportedly losing a role in the sequel to “Happy Feet.” Monjack believes losing the movie caused Murphy to have a heart attack. The only problem is, when you have a 32 year old person who has not had a long history of heart problems then this is a case he will lose.  Another problem he faces if he goes through with it is the fact that in their home was loads of prescription pills and his wife was having stomach ache the fateful Sunday morning, not chest pains.

Warner Brothers has released a statement: “Any claim that Warner Bros. Pictures was somehow responsible for Brittany Murphy’s tragic death is demonstrably false, reprehensible, and defamatory. Despite press reports to the contrary, Warner Bros. Pictures and Ms. Murphy never entered into any deal for “Happy Feet 2,” and thus, there was not a contract to cancel.”

Bad move Simon, just mourn your wife and move on, don’t blame others for possible mistakes she might have made.
